ACT Beauty France sets its sights on new horizons

ACT Beauty France, the result of a merger in October between My Planet Packaging (MPP) and ACT Import, is striving for new sustainability goals, led by an experienced team intent on rejuvenating the beauty market.

With the combined expertise and skills of MPP and ACT Import, the ACT Beauty France Group is a specialist in complex, custom packaging; beauty accessories like professional brushes; and GWP (gift with purchase) products.

“From 2021 to 2022, our revenue increased by 42%, and we are predicting growth of about 30% for 2023,” says Cyril Dauvers, president of Act Beauty France. “In one year, our staff doubled to thirty employees, and we now have five new positions to fill in quality control, purchasing, and sales development,” he adds. Of course, international expansion has a role to play in this global growth. “Business is strong in France, in Paris and Lille, where our headquarters is located, but also in the United States, in New York, where we opened offices eighteen months ago.”

Environmental and social responsibility

To continue this upward trend, the company has decided to follow a strategy of moving production closer to consumer markets by choosing to educate its customers about the real costs of “made in Europe.” Looking ahead, ACT Beauty France Group has committed to a sustainable approach and will aim for excellent environmental performance. “We invest 3% of our revenue in R&D,” adds Dauvers. “We propose 100%-recycled packaging and accessories. Our objective is to increase the number of eco-designed products in our catalog and to prioritize reuse in the context of a circular economy.”

With a high score of 89 out of 100, Group Act Beauty France once again received the EcoVadis Platinum rating. The company’s short-term goal is to receive ISO 9001 (quality management) and IS 14001 (environmental responsibility) certification. “And we are aiming for B-Corp certification in 2024,” says Dauvers. All of which is sure to further strengthen employee commitment and loyalty, the company’s main motto.
