Dispensing solutions specialist Aptar Beauty + Home has unveiled a new collection of fragrance spray pumps. Dubbed Inune, it consists of four products, with refillable versions also available.
Inune is a new collection of fragrance pumps from dispensing specialist Aptar Beauty + Home. From a short, rapid spray to a continuous mist, the range is positioned as an “all-in-one solution” that responds to current market trends.
Inune consists of four spray pumps. Classic Inune, described as "short and sweet", offers a precise and rapid spray and is destined for EdTs. Silk Inune is a rebranding of Aptar’s Dolce pump that was unveiled in 2019 and subsequently withdrawn over issues over the brand name, according to the supplier. Described as "truly disruptive" and said to be the first personalizable spray pump, Silk Inune enables the consumer to control the dosage dispensed, depending on their needs. Pressing briefly results in a short spray, while fully engaging the pump results in a spray that is 10 times longer. Precious Inune delivers a continuous mist, with a spray that lasts three times as long as a classic spray. The resulting enveloping mist makes it particularly suitable for EdP and concentrated formats. HDS – or High Definition Spray – offers a breezy and broad spray of 60° as opposed to 30° with a classic pump. HDS targets eau de cologne, summer editions or eaux fraiches.
“Our vision is to re-enchant the perfume experience. Each fragrance has its own fragrance gesture, influenced by factors such as personality, season, occasion, fragrance type and culture,” Elisabeth Salom l'Ancien, Global Business Development Director Fragrance, Aptar Beauty + Home, said during a virtual press conference this morning. “Our ambition is to propose a collection of sprays that respond to these gestures as there are 1,001 ways to apply fragrance.”
The collection was designed with luxury codes in mind: the height of the pump was minimized and the mechanism made invisble for a discreet look. Each pump is available in a refillable screw format in line with the Cetie norm. Inune is POM-free and 10% lighter than its best alternative on the market, says Aptar. It comes in three formats: 70, 100 and 130µL.
Also at the press conference, fragrance house IFF revealed the results of a recent consumer study. While 14% of consumers say they apply more fragrance than before the pandemic, expectations are moving beyond perfume’s traditional role. Some 78% of those surveyed said would like a fragrance with emotional or physical benefits, the study revealed, an 8% increase versus 2019. And the issue of sustainability in fragrance products is non-negotiable, with 93% of consumers expecting more from brands in this area.
