Chanel taps Baccarat for biggest-ever N°5 bottle

For the holiday season, Chanel has launched the largest format to date of its Chanel N°5 fragrance. The flacon, created by Baccarat, contains 2021ml of Parfum.

French crystal maker Baccarat has created a two-liter, limited-edition bottle to house Chanel N°5. Like the original N°5 flacon, N°5 Grand Extrait Baccarat 2021ml is adorned with a white label and topped with a facetted cabochon. Each bottle is numbered by hand.

The fragrance is nestled in a white-dipped lambskin coffret. Also in the coffret is a Baccarat crystal wand to enable the user to apply the fragrance.

The flacon contains 2021ml of scent – 2021 for the year of Chanel’s centenary, and because the numbers added together equal five.

Just 55 of the flacons are available, retailing at €28,000.

N°5 Grand Extrait Baccarat 2021ml joins other recent Chanel launches celebrating 100 years of Chanel N°5, including its first-ever advent calendar and the Chanel Factory 5 collection.
