Cosmogen & dispensing supplier PYC join forces

French applicator specialist Cosmogen has integrated supplier PYC’s dispensing offer to build a full range of beauty packaging solutions.

Cosmogen, owned by holding compay MBO & Co since 2016, has merged with PYC, a supplier of “turnkey and high-end spray and airless bottles”. PYC (an acronym for Pack your Cosmetics) was founded early 2019 as a standalone business in MBO & Co's portfolio to offer turnkey beauty dispensing solutions; its collection is now integrated into Cosmogen’s portfolio. Sourced in China, the packaging components are customizable, Ecocert-certified and food-grade compliant, according to Cosmogen. 

“We now provide our customers with an expanded and complete offer, a dedicated sales contact, and of course, our technical expertise in skincare and makeup application to support them fully in their strategy of product development,’’ said Cosmogen President and CEO Priscille Caucé in a statement.

The deal follows on the heels of recent consolidation in the dispensing industry, including Silgan’s purchase of Albéa’s dispensing business.
