Formes de Luxe Awards 2022 - The winners revealed!

The 24th edition of the Formes de Luxe Awards ceremony took place on October 3rd  2022. The luxury packaging awards recognizing brands and suppliers was held at the Grimaldi Forum, co-hosted by Formes de Luxe and Luxe Packaging Insight Editorial Director Alissa Demorest and French television journalist Gérald Ariano. Knoll Packaging, Metropack, Make a Mark, Neyret, HP and Visit Monaco were partners of the event this year. The evening's winners took home a trophy designed by Spanish graffiti artist Javier Demsky and produced by Make a Mark, the design project launched in 2021 by Kurz, Estal and Avery Dennison. Vollherbst printed the trophy labels. Read on to discover the 2022 Formes de Luxe Awards winners, and what our prestigious jury members had to say about them.

Fragrance & Cosmetics Coffret
Coffret Miss Dior Rose Essence
Brand: Parfums Christian Dior
Supplier: DS Smith

“This drawer-style coffret is composed of a sleeve and an insert. The insert in injected cellulose has creases that enable the edges to be folded flat, so it fits perfectly into the sleeve.”
Erwann Pivert, Product Design Development Director, Servaire & Co

Accessories
La Belle Fleur Terrible
Brand: Jean Paul Gaultier
Supplier: Seram

“The originality of the accessory impressed the jury. It is executed with great finesse, and the embroidery is very detailed, with 12 colors. Combined with different reliefs, there is all in all a very couture effect!”
Delphine Berret, Industrial Director Fragrance, Louis Vuitton

Applicators (make-up, skincare)
La Crème Yeux Premier Cru
Brand: Caudalie
Supplier: Cosmogen

“We decreed this product the winner notably because of the assembly of the two pieces and the quality of execution. The fact the two pieces can be separated is a real plus for the consumer, and the applicator is extremely pleasant to use.”
Emmanuel Pichet, Senior Product Designer UX Design Lab, L’Oréal

Folding Box
Etui Crayères
Brand: Ruinart
Supplier: Pusterla 1880

“An incredible evolution of Ruinart’s Second Skin. This complex design has more than 400 facets, and the opening and closing system remains of great quality.”

Premium Coffret
Hennessy Trunk – NBA 75th Anniversary Edition
Brand: Hennessy

“We voted for this coffret on account of the quality of the execution, notably in the details, such as the basketball grain of the leather that is a nod to the partnership with the NBA. The assembly and detailing in different materials are also of an exceptional quality.”
Delphine Berret, Industrial Director Fragrance, Louis Vuitton

Dispensing
Special Cleansing Gel and Ultracalming Cleanser

Wine & Spirits Bottle
Flute Gothic

Fragrance Bottle
Eaux de parfum
