Germany’s Heinz-Glas Group has appointed Carletta Heinz as CEO, effective July 1. She takes over the reins of the family-owned glassmaker from her father, Carl-August Heinz, who has managed the group for 43 years and is now retiring. He will, however, act in a consulting capacity for Heinz-Glas in the short term.
Carletta Heinz joined Heinz-Glas Group in 2013 and was appointed CIO in 2017.
