In-house design studio a priority at Berlin Packaging

The group’s EMEA division is promoting its innovation center as key to future developments.

Berlin Packaging’s Spirits Division was highlighting its in-house design team, Studio One Eleven, at Paris Packaging Week. While the studio has existed for a number of years, Berlin Packaging's Matteo Vitale, Chief Sales Officer EMEA explains that it is the division’s “motor for innovation”. “Innovation through design is a common thread through all of our projects today as brands look to make their packs increasingly sustainable, be it through their concept, shape, or material.” Berlin Packaging Spirits acquired Cognac-based glass supplier Disco Glass last October and further acquisitions are planned for 2023. Vitale affirms that while the spirits market remains dynamic, glass supply continues to be a challenge.
