Lalique walks on the wild side with Empreinte Animale fragrance flacon

Lalique’s Empreinte Animale 2023 collector’s flacon is launching this spring. The crocodile-print, crystal fragrance bottle is decorated with gold enameling and topped with a green crystal cap.

An homage to the animal kingdom, French glassmaker Lalique’s Empreinte Animale collection includes a limited-edition fragrance. Etched to mimic the texture of crocodile skin, the satin body of the brilliant crystal flacon is then decorated using gold enameling. The bottle is topped with an emerald green faceted stopper and sealed with a golden baudruchage.

“The miniature cutting of the scales and the relief of the crystal offer a technical tour de force that gives it a striking realism,” Lalique’s Artistic Director Marc Larminaux says of the packaging.

The perfume comes in a fabric-wrapped wooden box (MingFeng) with a bespoke crocodile skin pattern in relief on the lid.

Each numbered bottle contains Lalique’s signature fragrance, Lalique de Lalique. It blends notes of rose, jasmine, blackcurrant leaf and sandalwood.

Launching in March, the 200ml flacon retails at €1,400. Just 500 are available.
