French cognac brand Louis XIII (Remy Martin) has introduced its N°XIII red decanter. Just 200 of the individually numbered decanters were produced.
Louis XIII is playing the exclusive card with its N°XIII red decanter: the cognac is launching only in nightclubs, accompanied by a tasting ritual. An LED cloche encloses the decanter, while six red crystal glasses are presented on a luminous tray. The Spear – a special cognac pipette – is used to serve the spirit.
The decanter and glasses were created by French glassmaker Saint Louis. To obtain the red hue, a "confidential" process involving the addition of gold was used. The decanter is blown, cut, decorated and engraved by hand. It features the brand’s iconic dentelle spikes and sports a palladium neck. The fleur de lys-shaped stopper is NFC-enabled, providing access to Louis XIII's membership society. Each decanter is individually numbered, with just 200 available worldwide.
