Italian primary packaging manufacturer Lumson has unveiled APP LIGHT, a lightweighted addition to its airless packaging line at Paris Packaging Week.
Lumson presented the latest addition to its airless range. APP LIGHT succeeds Lumson’s previously released APP355 airless system, with the new development focused on eco design.
Made of 80% PCR HDPE and 20% HDPE, APP LIGHT is said to weight 25% less than its equivalent APP355 due to the bottle's reduced thickness. The product was analyzed by SPICE to show a 19% CO2 emission reduction when compared to Lumson’s APP START solution.
APP Light can be paired with the existing PCR PP AA355 pump. Available in a 50ml format, both the bottle and the pouch can be personalized with different decoration techniques.
