MY LUXE PACK preps kick-off of premium packaging digital platform

November 30th is the official launch date for My LUXE PACK, the digital platform created by LUXE PACK shows organizer Idice to support luxury brands in their packaging developments.

“Inspire, innovate and interact” are the three main ambitions of My LUXE PACK, the free access digital platform launching on November 30th, the day that the LUXE PACK Monaco show was slated to open. Described as a “dynamic showroom” highlighting packaging suppliers’ expertise and their latest product innovations—some 1,500 products are expected on the platform by the kickoff date— the site aims to federate LUXE PACK’s supplier and brand community in Monaco, but also in New York City, Los Angeles and Shanghai.

Thanks to its instant messaging service and videoconference tool, My LUXE PACK will foster exchanges between brands and suppliers. “Our first objective is to maintain the link between our exhibitors and the entire LUXE PACK brand community during what is an incredibly complicated period and to support them as they look to restart their business. With My LUXE PACK, our team is continuing its role as a business facilitator by offering suppliers and brands a novel model in complement to our physical shows,” explains Fabienne Germond, LUXE PACK show director.

Content is also an integral part of My LUXE PACK; the platform will host a three-day program of conferences and keynotes debuting on November 30th. In keeping with the platform’s international audience the digital program will be held in English (French subtitling available on replay) and content will focus on three main themes:

  • Packaging trends in the face of rapidly changing consumer usage habits and materials (keynotes by Peclers, materiO’, Balistik Art)
  • Rethinking the consumer experience in the context of luxury (keynote by Dr Phil Klaus, PK Customer Experience)
  • The circular economy: challenges facing committed brands (panel discussions featuring executives from brands including Louis Vuitton, Courbet, Macallan, Estée Lauder…)

On November 30th visitors can also discover the products in the running for the 2020 edition of the LUXE PACK in Green awards. For the first time this year, organizers are launching a People's Choice award; visitors will vote to designate the "green" packaging innovation of the year. LUXE PACK in Green winners will be announced on the platform on December 2nd at 4pm French time.

Registration for My LUXE PACK, free of charge for visitors, opens mid-November.
