Quadpack appoints Alexandra Chauvigné CEO

Beauty packaging supplier Quadpack has named former DS Smith and Aptar executive Alexandra Chauvigné as CEO. The appointment will see Co-founder Tim Eaves take on the role of Chief Impact Officer alongside his position as Chairman of the Board.

Executive management changes are afoot at Quadpack. The Spain-based beauty packaging manufacturer has appointed Alexandra Chauvigné CEO, effective September 1st. She succeeds Tim Eaves, in line with the company’s move to separate CEO and Chairman functions as per good governance practice.

Chauvigné’s leadership experience spans more than 25 years. She has a solid track record in the packaging industry, having previously been General Manager of DS Smith’s Consumer Packaging business unit, and with several executive positions at dispensing solutions specialist Aptar Beauty + Home. Chauvigné was VP & General Manager for Aptar’s skincare and color cosmetics business from 2018 to 2020, and served as President, Global Market Development for its beauty business from 2011 to 2017.

“My immediate priority is to continue all the great things Tim and Quadpack have done so far, and to continue developing the company according to the current business strategy. The beauty sector faces challenges in the current climate, but we need to understand the implications of possible actions before we decide how to move forward. On the whole, however, I feel very confident about the future,” Chauvigné tells Luxe Packaging Insight.

Quadpack co-founder Tim Eaves will continue as Chairman of Quadpack’s Board of Directors, and takes on the newly created role of Chief Impact Officer.

“The role of Chief Impact Officer was created to carry out our commitment as a B Corp, to structure the company’s activity in a way that has a positive impact on the world, and to cascade that model across other companies in the industry,” Eaves explains to Luxe Packaging Insight.

In this new position, he will continue to lead the sustainability/B Corp committee, as well as represent Quadpack within the B Corp Community, the Conscious Capitalism movement, the Beauty Cluster and other industry and institutional organisations. Eaves will also be more active in his role of Chair of the Quadpack Foundation, the company adds.
