Viktor&Rolf’s Spicebomb Infrared turns up the heat

Launching this summer, men’s EdT Infrared is the latest – and spiciest - addition to Viktor&Rolf’s (L’Oréal) Spicebomb franchise. The amber oriental scent marks the first time a Habenero pepper accord has been used in a men’s fragrance.

Viktor&Rolf’s latest men’s EdT Infrared is housed in the grenade-shaped, faceted flacon (Bormioli Luigi) that characterizes the brand’s Spicebomb collection. For Infrared, the bottle is decorated using a wet-on-wet lacquer, where the two colors — red and black — are applied simultaneously. For the glassmaker, achieving a precise join that is concealed by the wrap-around label (Printor Packaging) bisecting the bottle was key.

Created by Carlos Benaïm, Nicolas Beaulieu and Jean-Christophe Hérault (IFF), the amber oriental EdT blends notes of grapefruit oil, Habenero red pepper accord and tobacco.

Spicebomb Infrared launches in June.
