Barcelona-based cosmetic dropper specialist Virospack presented new additions to its DuoMix and Just Wood! Ranges, as well as new manufacturing technology at this year’s edition of Paris Packaging Week.
Dubbed The Dropper Company, Spanish Virospack has introduced DuoMix Twist & Shake, in complement to its existing DuoMix range. The new powder-dispensing system for two-component products (powder and liquid or liquid and liquid) features a novel twist design and a greater capacity. The two components remain intact until the twist-closure PP piston is open, and the bottle is shaken to mix the two formulas inside. The new design is intended for cosmetics with greater capacity needs, and comes with a PE reservoir cap with capacity of 2ml or 3ml. It is compatible with Virospack’s tubular glass bottles; all of its components are customizable.
The supplier has also expanded its Just Wood! range of single-piece wooden droppers to include two smaller-sized neck options – 17.15mm and 23.50mm. The range is free of the traditional plastic inner cap and glue.
A new bulb manufacturing technology was on show as well. With blow molding injection, the supplier can produce dropper bulbs with wider designs possibilites, including circular, cylindrical, square, conical or bespoke shapes.
